The gardens are a joy to explore with the exotic trees and romantic gardens, sweeping lawns and mysterious woodlands; hidden dells; secret gardens; courtyards and a sculptured lake that create the perfect environment for retreating.

The interiors are stunning too – the work of fabled architects and master craftsmen from centuries past. The quintessentially English wood-panelled library is a comfortable gathering place for mothers to chat. Upstairs, the yoga room has gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with views across the gardens and surrounding countryside. The crèche is large and spacious as are the bedrooms which retain their original mansion proportions
