If you are a new Mum or a second or third time Mum, be kind to yourself and book a Mamaheaven retreat. The first time I went, I was so exhausted I was just grateful for the creche so that I could have some time to myself. Actually, I really enjoyed the yoga and came away so energised that I began to think that it wasn't just more sleep I needed but more yoga. I went on a second retreat because I wanted someone to look after me for the weekend. It is my idea of a perfect weekend: delicious and healthy food, an amazing massage, loving ladies to look after me and my baby and morning yoga to get me going, all in a beautiful countryside setting. I came away feeling very loved and nurtured as a mother. It certainly made me feel happier and more loving towards my family when I got home.
